Community Diary update

The Community Directory originally published to help new people in the town to locate services, clubs and facilities is to be updated.

The recent meeting of Kilcullen Community Action heard that there were 'gaps' in the information, and that many of the contact people in the listed organisations might have changed.

It is proposed to have a new version launched on April 24, in conjunction with a Lions Club Duck Race and the launch of the Litter Patrol for the summer.

Meanwhile, Kilcullen Tidy Towns committee has appealed for helpers to do the traditional 'spring clean' of public areas, including The Valley.

The first day of the programme is scheduled for Saturday February 5. Volunteers are asked to meet in The Valley at 10.30.
