Resurfacing on Usk road

There will be restricted access on the L6094 Usk rural road from next Monday 7 April for resurfacing works, writes Brian Byrne. The work is expected to take six days to complete.

The contractors will be working from 8.30am to 5pm and the road will be closed to through traffic during these times. Residents and local school buses will be accommodated.

Contractor Kilsaran says the duration may be extended if there is inclement weather. They hope to complete the tarmacking in as timely and least disruptive way as possible.
