CPC students win Kildare Drama Schools Competition

Congratulations to the Fifth Year students of Cross & Passion College who won the Kildare Drama Festival Schools Competition.

Directed by Evelyn O'Sullivan, their production was outstanding and was highly praised by the adjudicator for 'clever execution of a complex piece of work'.

The CPC group were among five schools from the county who presented 30-minute dramas. Their presentation was based on William Shakespeare's 'Macbeth'.

The cast and crew were Danny O'Grady in the title role, with Sadhbh O'Hanlon as Lady McBeth, and Emmett O'Sullivan (Banquo), Brian Lawlor (MacDuff), Ruari Cramer (Lennox), Yousha Petit Frere (Ross), Jordan Fortune (Angus/Malcolm), Martin Allen (First Witch), Rachel MacDonald (Second Witch/First Murder), Imogen O'Riordan (Third Witch/Donalbain), and Chris Malone (Backstage/Sound).
