Art and Handwriting winners

The Community Games Art and Handwriting competition held recently in Scoil Bhride, writes Papillon Rabbitte. The event itself was a great success with a record number of children turning up on the night. Credit to the committee members and parents who helped out and ensured the smooth running of the event.

Many thanks also to our superb judges, Noel Scullion who judged the art competition and Edel O'Neill who judged the handwriting competition.

All the art medal winners go through to the County Final which is being held in the Patrician Primary school this Sunday 12 March, registration at 9.30am with the competition to start at 10am. No date has been set yet for the Handwriting County Final.

Congratulations to all those who took part in both competitions and best of luck to you all in the county finals.
