Progress with Teach na nDaoine

The work on the Teach na nDaoine project is proceeding apace, and there has been considerable progress, writes Brian Byrne.

The first fit of the electrical work has been completed, interior walls have been taken down to open up the space, and high grade insulation is currently being installed on the other walls. New windows have also been installed.

Two major openings have been made at the rear, which will initially provide glass door access to the rear garden, and subsequently to a planned extension to the existing building for further facilities.

Fundraising also continues, and a recent donation of €1,000 was made by Bank of Ireland Kilcullen, under the Enterprise Town Scheme.

All donations, and offers of help, will be gratefully accepted.
