Community urged to participate in survey

Researchers will be calling to Kilcullen homes between now and December as the Community Survey organised by Kilcullen Community Action gets under way.

In addition to door-to-door meetings where the researchers will complete questionnaires, there will be an on-line survey facility for young people, focus groups, a drop-box for suggestions, and opportunities for local groups and organisations to have their ways.

The survey is being supported by the Rural Development Programme 2007-2013.

KCA has appealed to all in the community to take part, emphasising that all replies are absolutely confidential.

The community organisation says that by pooling all the information, the survey will help map out the strengths already in the town, as well as showing where gaps are.

A leaflet drop to homes this week is providing all the details of the initiative.
