Bridge Evening raises kidney funds

Last night's Bridge Evening in the Parish Centre in aid of funding a holiday home for kidney dialysis patients was a big success.

There were 18 tables of players, and the event was supported with prizes by a wide variety of businesses and individuals.

Pictured prior to the serious business of playing cards are two of the organisers, Phena Bermingham and Mary Berney, with James Nolan, founder of the Punchestown Kidney Research Fund.
