DID YOU KNOW?

People typically spend about two hours dreaming per night, spread across four to six REM periods. The first REM period begins around 90 minutes after falling asleep and lasts about 10 minutes, with subsequent periods increasing in duration to 30-60 minutes by morning. Most dreaming occurs during these REM cycles, with individual dreams lasting 5-20 minutes each. However, the duration of dreams is difficult to measure accurately.
