The passing of Geraldine Nugent

The death has occurred of Geraldine Nugent (née Foley), Avondale Drive, Kilcullen, on 10 February 2026, peacefully in the wonderful care of the nurses and staff of St Brigid's Hospice, The Curragh. 

Sadly missed by her loving husband Michael, daughters Nicola and Sandra, grandchildren Evan, Georgia, Jessica and Reece. Sons-in-law John and Joey, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews, extended family, and friends.

Geraldine will be reposing in Anderson & Leahy’s funeral home, Henry St, Newbridge, from 4pm on Thursday, with prayers at 7pm. Removal on Friday morning at 10.15am to arrive at the Church of the Sacred Heart & St Brigid, Kilcullen for 11am Mass, which will be live-streamed on this link. Her funeral will be afterwards to St Conleth’s Cemetery, Newbridge.
