The passing of Kate Carey

The death has occurred of Kate (Catherine) Carey, Conroy Park, Kilcullen, on 26 November 2025, peacefully at St Brigid's hospice, The Curragh, in the company of her loving family.

Kate's passing is deeply regretted by her loving brothers, Paul, Eddie and Martin; sisters, Mary, Bridget, Theresa, Rosemary, Martina and Trisha; brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law; extended family, relatives, neighbours, and friends.

She will be reposing at her family home (Eircode R56 A271) today, Thursday, 27 November, from 3pm until 8pm, with prayers at 7.30pm. 

Removal will be tomorrow, Friday morning, 28 November, to the Church of the Sacred Heart and St Brigid, Kilcullen, arriving for the 11am funeral mass, which may be viewed on this link. The mass will be followed by burial in St Brigid's Cemetery.

Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, can be made to St Brigid's Hospice, for which a donation box will be available in the house and church.
