The passing of Kathleen Behan

The Diary has learned of the death Kathleen Behan (née Kirwan), of Calverstown, on 24 October, peacefully at Naas Hospital, in the company of her loving family.

Beloved wife of the late Edward Behan and son Patrick, Kathleen is sadly missed by her loving family, daughters Mary and Catherine and sons John, Joe, and Liam, daughters-in-law and son-in-law, Kathleen's adored grandchildren and great-grandchildren, extended family and friends.

She will be reposing at Doyles Funeral Home, Ballymount, Colbinstown, (W91 RX37) on Sunday, 26 October, from 4pm to 8pm, with prayers at 7.30pm. Removal will be on Monday, 27 October, to the Church of SS Mary and Laurence, Crookstown (R14 WD80) for Requiem Mass at 11am, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

House strictly private. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, can be made to Dementia Ireland and Friends of Naas Hospital.
