Kare highlights access issues

Hopefully, this will not be a downtown Kilcullen issue for people in wheelchairs and with other disabilities for much longer, writes Brian Byrne. The photo was taken by a Kare group who highlighted similar issues in Newbridge for MakeWayDay.

This particular section should be sorted by new works beginning later this month, which will include a new, sweeping, granite path starting at the River Cafe and continuing down to Fire Stop.

Expected to take up to 16 weeks, the work will include a proper junction coming out of Market Square.
