The passing of Charles Poufong

The Diary has learned of the death of Charles Poufong, Esker Lea, Kilcullen, and formerly of Cameroon, peacefully on 2nd June 2025 at Tallaght Hospital.

Charles's passing is deeply regretted by his loving wife Caitriona, his mother Grace, daughters Chantal, Yvette, Adeline and Eithne, sons Luke and Michael, grandchildren, siblings Grace, Emmanuel, Rose, Gladys, Rene Martin, Theodore, Winnifred, George, Comfort and Pamela, Pa David and brother Gaston, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, sons-in-law, extended family and a large circle of friends.

Charles will be reposing at Glennon's funeral home 32 Main Street, Newbridge, on Friday 6th from 5pm until 7pm with prayers at 6.30pm. Removal from there will be on Saturday morning at 11.30am to the church of The Sacred Heart & St Brigid, Kilcullen, arriving for 12 noon funeral service which may be viewed on this link. The service will be followed by burial in Two Mile House cemetery.
