The passing of Matthew Cahill

The Diary has learned of the death of Matthew Cahill, Conroy Park, Kilcullen, on April 18th 2024 peacefully in the company of his loving family and in the loving care of the staff of St Brigid's Hospice, The Curragh.

Matthew's passing is deeply regretted by his loving wife Sheila, daughter Caroline, sons Matthew, Shane and Kevin, daughter-in-law Sinéad, son-in-law Denis, sisters Hilda, Monica and Bernie, grandchildren Cathal, Niamh, Ciara, Taylor, Madison, Skye and his great-granddaughter Tessa.

He will be reposing at his daughter Caroline Daly's residence, Thornberry, Belan Avenue, Moone (eircode R14 R896) from 3pm on Sunday 21st April until 8pm, with prayers at 7.30pm. Removal from there will be on Monday 22nd April to the Church of The Sacred Heart and St Brigid, Kilcullen, arriving for 11am Funeral Mass which can be viewed on this link. Funeral afterwards will be to St Brigid's Cemetery, Kilcullen.
