The passing of Jim Berney

The Diary has been informed of the death of Jim Berney, on 11 March 2024 in Naas Hospital.

Predeceased by his wife Pat and infant son Stephen, Jim's passing is deeply regretted by his children Vincent, Jamie, Patricia, and Jennifer; their partners Fiona, Aisling, Paul and Chris; grandchildren Samuel, Amelia, Max, Ella and Noah, Sophie and Sarah; his brother Tom and his wife Mary; his nieces, nephews and friends. Jim is also missed by his large circle of friends in the horse industry.

Jim will be reposing at his residence on Thursday 14th from 4pm to 7pm with prayers at 6.30pm. Removal from there will be on Friday morning 15th to the Church of the Sacred Heart and St Brigid, Kilcullen, arriving for 11am funeral mass, which may be viewed at this link. The mass will be followed by his funeral to St Brigid's Cemetery.
