The passing of Annie Ward

The Diary has learned of the death of Annie (Nan) Ward (née Whelan) Killinane, Dunlavin, Wicklow and late of Kilcullen, peacefully in her 105th year in the loving care of the management and staff of Curragh Lawn, Nursing Home. 

Beloved wife of the late Thomas and mother of the late Kevin, Annie's passing is deeply regretted by her loving son Tommy, daughters Elizabeth, Mary and Phil, sister Phylis, daughter-in-law Helen, son-in-law Jim, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and a large circle of friends.

She will be reposing at her daughter Elizabeth's residence Eircode W91 XY40 from 4pm to 8pm on Saturday and Sunday with prayers at 7.30pm on Sunday evening. Removal from there on Monday to the Church of Ss Mary and Laurence, Crookstown, arriving for 12:30pm funeral Mass followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
