The passing of Jack Kelly

The Diary has learned of the death of John (Jack) Kelly, Nicholastown, Kilcullen, on 16 January 2023 in the loving care of the staff at Mill Lane Manor nursing home in the company of his loving family. 

Beloved husband of Mary and cherished father of daughters Jennifer, Lesley, Sylvia and son Matthew, sons-in-law Fran and Shaun, daughter-in-law Anna, grandchildren Francis, Caroline, Conor, Kyle, Ciara and James, he is sadly missed by his sisters Judy (Barker), Martha (Houilhan), Sr Margo Kelly, Texas, USA, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, neighbours, relatives and a wide circle of friends. Jack was predeceased by his brother Jim and parents Matt and Mary Kelly.

He will be reposing at his residence on Wednesday 18 January from 4pm to 8pm with prayers at 7.30pm. Removal from there will be on Thursday 19 January to The Church of The Sacred Heart & St Brigid, Kilcullen arriving for 11am requiem mass which may be viewed here. Funeral afterwards to New Abbey cemetery.
