The passing of Peg Byrne (Tullamore)

The Diary has been informed of the death of Margaret (Peg) Byrne (née Bermingham), Ballyhassan House, Mount Lucas, Tullamore, Co Offaly and formerly of Carbury, Co Kildare, on 16 November 2022 in her 100th year. 

Beloved wife of the late Ger, formerly of Mile Mill/Yellow Bog, who died in 1979. Peg will be sadly missed by her loving family, sister Mai Severy (Mass USA), her nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews, great grand nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.

She will be reposing at her nephew John's residence, Blakefield, Rathangan, Co Kildare on Friday the 18th from 3pm to 8pm, concluding with rosary at 8pm.

Peg's funeral Mass will be celebrated in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Walsh Island (R35 YT04) on Saturday morning at 11 o'clock, followed by burial in New Abbey Cemetery, Kilcullen, beside her husband.
