The passing of Josie Meaney

The Diary has learned of the death of Josephine (Josie) Meaney (née O'Neill) Kilcullen, on 16 October 2022, in her 95th year, in the loving care of the staff at Silverstream Nursing Home, Dunlavin. 
Beloved wife of the late Paddy (Bowler) and predeceased by her son-in-law Barney and grandson Bernard, her passing is deeply regretted by her loving daughter Angela, sons Pat and Anthony, sisters Moll, Margaret, Anne and Rosie, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, neighbours, relatives and friends.
Josie will be reposing at Murphy Bros Funeral Home, Naas, on Tuesday 18 October, from 6pm-8pm with prayers at 7.30pm. Removal from there will be on Wednesday morning to The Church of the Sacred Heart and St Brigid, Kilcullen, arriving for 11am requiem Mass which will be followed by burial in New Abbey Cemetery.
