Remembering absent friends

As we look ahead to whatever 2019 will bring us, it is time again to remember those who passed away during 2018. The Diary recorded some 52 people who left us, though we may well have missed some. Among them are people who were not necessarily living in this area, but whom had at some stage or in some way a connection with Kilcullen.

Those we remember are Madeline McCullagh, Grainne Morrissey, Thomas Keane, Jimmy Aspell, John Christie, Sean Lambe, Margaret O'Brien, Mary Keyes, Mary Keane, Liam O'Flynn, Jim Kelly, Patsy O'Halloran, Maurice Lynch, James Broughall, Dean Logan, Monica O'Brien, Rosemary Mills, Billy Clifford, Paul O'Neill, Tom Kelly, Betty Browne, Vincent Nolan, John Flanagan, Mairead O'Modhrain, Martin Carrigg, Lauri Carroll, Jim Collins, Richard Pearson, Shay Walker, Michael McDonnell, Rosaleen Broughall, Sean Mac Donnell, Mary Conroy, Margaret Lynch, Lizzie Landers, Michael O'Donnell, Henry Reeves, Tom McGann, Molly Mayne, Kathleen O'Connell, Bernadette Slevin, Jimmy Martin, Andrew Galt, Pat Canny, Sean Merrins, Maura Domican, Owen Mullins, Patrick Dooner, Phil O'Donnell, Aiden Quinn, Aileen Mullins. and Edward Domican.
