Garden stuff stolen from pensioner

A number of garden items were stolen in Avondale Drive on Thursday night/Friday morning from the home of a pensioner, writes Brian Byrne.

They included two fully planted hanging boxes taken from the householder's handrail, an ornamental wishing well, and an ornate ceramic elephant plant pot.

Some new solar-powered light were also taken.

The garden is the householder's pride and joy, and it would be really helpful if they were recovered.
