The passing of Billy Clifford
The Diary has learned of the death of William 'Billy' Clifford of St Brigid's Avenue.
He passed away in the wonderful care of the nurses and staff of the Curragh Lawn Nursing Home. Billy, husband of the late Brigid (Queenie) and father of the late Liam; sadly missed by his loving sons and daughters Patricia, Bridie, Mary, Esther, Theresa, Gay, Martina and John, Ger and Joe, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brother and sisters, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives and friends
He will be reposing at Anderson and Leahy’s Funeral Home, Newbridge, from 2pm Monday, with prayers at 8 o’clock
Removal will be on Tuesday morning at 10.15am to arrive at the Church of the Sacred Heart and St Brigid, Kilcullen for 11am mass.
Burial will take place afterwards in St Brigid’s Cemetery, Kilcullen.
Family flowers only, donations if desired may be made to the Oblates Lourdes Fund, and Friends of St Brigid’s Hospice, Moore Abbey, for which purpose there will be a donations box in the church.
