Woodbine on RTE TV today

Woodbine Books had a visit from journalist and author Sinéad Crowley yesterday who was doing a feature on bookselling in Ireland for the RTE news.

It will form part of a report on the Irish Booksellers Conference which takes place today Friday 23 March.

Sinéad spoke to Dawn Behan about the shop and its place in the community. "We were chosen for this feature as a result of our win of the regional heat of the Independent Bookseller of the Year 2018 award," Dawn says. "We also got a lovely surprise when David Byrne and Katie Boyce of Crean's Place presented us with a cake to congratulate us on our recent win."
