Planning permission granted for Dunleas redevelopment
Permission has been granted for a rebuilding of the car showrooms at Dunleas of Kilcullen, which includes the removal of the filling station, writes Brian Byrne.
The development involves the demolition of a 976 sq m building and the erection of one totalling 1,212 sq m.
The application was made initially in July of last year, and deferred pending the provision of further information.
The permission is granted subject to 17 conditions, none of which are out of the ordinary.
The grant date was 28 February. Parties who have previously registered their interest in the development have four weeks from that date to make any appeal to An Bord Pleanala.
The ending of petrol sales at Dunleas will mean only one such outlet will remain in Kilcullen.
