Woodbine wins Irish Region of Bookseller Competition

Woodbine Books has won the Irish Region in the Indie Bookshop of the Year 2018 competition organised by the Booksellers Association, writes Brian Byrne.

Dawn and Aidan's brave and very popular enterprise was one of two from the Ireland region to make the grade for the final choices in the competition.

The regional results were announced a day early, and Dawn and Aidan are very grateful to all those who left comments on the Bookseller website in support of their nomination.

Now they are in the running for the overall Best Indie Bookshop in the UK and Ireland.
