Late night works for development connections

Anyone out late in Kilcullen the last couple of nights will have seen the work going on at the Hideout crossroads, writes Brian Byrne.

However, hopes that it was to do with the much-needed revamping of the traffic lights faded when the Diary enquired and found it was in connection with sewerage services to the new development beside the church car park.

The work is being carried out at night to minimise traffic disruption. It is understood it will take another couple of nights.
