I Draw Slow in the BAG
After releasing their critically acclaimed fourth album 'Turn Your Face To The Sun' last year, the five good folks of I Draw Slow have continued to tour the planet, writes Roy Thompson of the Ballymore Acoustic Gigs, bringing their unique Irish take on an Old-Time/Folk/Bluegrass String band sound to its four corners.
It's a pleasure to welcome the band back to BAG, where, just like the last time, we'll set them up around a couple of good condenser microphones, and let you hear them just as nature intended.
NB: The cold snap is expected to have passed by Monday, and the thaw well under way, if not entirely complete. Temperatures will be more like normal, and driving conditions should be fine again. The gig is 100% on, at this stage (Friday morning).
If that changes, updates will issue via email and on social media. See ye in Mick's! Doors will open at 8:30pm. Patrons are advised to arrive early to avoid disappointment. Admission is €15.
