Easter Market spaces almost gone
There are still a couple of spaces left for local crafters who might want to be part of the Easter Market planned for the market square on Saturday 24 March, writes Brian Byrne.
Signage will be put in place next week at the town entrances and on the bridge, to highlight the Market to local people and to those passing through from outside.
The event will run from 9am-4pm, and stalls already booked will offer breads, pastries, and hot food, as well as crafts, jewellery and flowers.
There will be music, face-painting and and story-telling for children, and a children's art competition in the Heritage Centre.
A raffle to help defray the costs of removing dangerous trees in the Valley will also be held.
Anyone interested in taking the remaining spaces can phone Antoinette on 086 3702554.
