The passing of Grainne Morrissey

The Diary has learned of the death of Grainne Morrissey née Braiden, Kilcullen and late of Churchtown, Dublin, and Athlone, Co Westmeath.

She will be reposing at her daughter Niamh Traynor's residence, New Abbey, Castlemartin Lodge, from 5pm today Tuesday, with Rosary prayers at 9pm.

Removal will take place on Wednesday at 10.30am, arriving at the Church of the Sacred Heart & St Brigid, Kilcullen, for Requiem Mass at 11am.

Grainne's funeral will take place afterwards to St Brigid's Cemetery.

Family flowers only, please. Donations, if desired, may be made to Kilcullen Lions Club Meals on Wheels, for which purpose there will be a donations box in the church.
