St Laurences hurling promotion launch
St Laurence's GAA Club is launching an initiative to encourage more clubs in the area to field hurling teams, writes Brian Byrne.
The launch event is on Monday 5 February in the upstairs hall of the Club's premises at Narraghmore. It pucks off at 8pm with guest speaker Paudie Butler, former National GAA Hurling Development Co-ordinator. Other speakers will make presentations on the night.
St Laurence's already fields three hurling teams, at U6, U14 and Intermediate, and wants other GAA clubs in South Kildare to get involved in the game.
Further information from Brendan Gorman 083-1668826 (Hurling Club Chairperson) and Joe Doolan 087-2400961 (Hurling Club Underage Co-Ordinator).
