OKRFC, d'you remember?

Here's a rare piece of Kilcullen sporting history, courtesy of Niall McDonnell.

It is an Old Kilcullen Rugby Football Club team which played a Trinity College Dublin side in 1968.

Team members are (back) Vincent Nolan, Ray McDonnell, Leo Dempsey, Allen Byrne, Dermot Cox, Tom Cox, An Other; and (middle) Dave Hall, Niall McDonnell, Jim Barrett, Brendan O’Connell, Fr Tom Barrett, Dick Hall, Des Byrne; and (front) Bernard Berney and Denis Brennan.

The referee was John West and the result is recalled as a draw.
