Music and raffle after Sarah Swaine race

There willl be music in The Hideout on Sunday next from 5pm-8pm following the inaugural Sarah Swaine Memorial 5K/10K Race in the afternoon, writes Brian Byrne.

A cheque will be presented to the CanTeen charity during the music evening, to which all participants in the race are invited. There will also be a raffle for a large number of spot prizes which have been donated.

The organisers of the race, which commemorates teenager Sarah Swaine who died two years ago from cancer, would still be very grateful for donations of sandwiches and baked products for the participants on the day.
