FETC registrations next week
Registration for FETC courses for Spring 2018 will be held in Newbridge and Naas next week, writes Brian Byrne.
Under the auspices of the Kildare and Wicklow Education and Training Board, the classes in Newbridge will include under Adult Basic Education (ABE) English for Speakers of Other Languages; First Steps - General Study Skills; Literacy/Numeracy Support; and Computers for Beginners.
Under the Back to Education Initiative (BTEI) courses are available in Word Processing QQI Level 3; Internet Skills QQI Level 3; IT Skills QQI Level 4; Communications QQI Level 4; and Retail Sales & Customer Service QQI Level 4.
Registration dates for ESOL & ABE classes are Tuesday 16 January, 7:30pm–8:30pm; Wednesday, 17 January 10am-1pm. For BTEI classes, registration is Tuesday 16 January, 7:30pm–8:30pm; and Thursday 18 January 10am–1pm.

Meanwhile, registrations in Naas at the FETC in Jigginstown are also planned for next week. For English as a Second Language registration is on Monday 15 January at 10am–4pm & 7pm–8pm; for Community Education courses on Monday 15 January 10am–4pm; and for Adult Basic Education and Back to Education Initiative courses on Tuesday 16 January 10–4pm and 7pm–8pm.
