Designing bathrooms for the less-abled

When we work with customers who require our services in assisting them to plan a bathroom for use by people with mixed abilities in their home we are more than delighted to offer them an appointment in our showroom to discuss their ideas and requirements, writes Sophie Dooley of the Kildare Bathroom Company.

We first identify the needs of all members in the home and set about helping to plan their less-abled bathroom, taking into consideration abilities, budget, personal taste and family lifestyle. Factors such as how you wish to use the bathroom? who will use the bathroom? and assistance with selecting bathroom products, are all areas that we are more than happy to work on.

While we are with our customers we take into consideration every member of the home, ensuring comfort and safety are of utmost importance. You will see from the selection of photos of our less-abled bathrooms that we have really achieved this.

Over the years, choice in this area was very limited and customers were restricted with the products and tiles they had to choose from, leaving the end result looking very clinical. Now with a large selection of tiles and products we are delighted to enable our customers to feel that luxury when choosing the type of products and style that meets their needs.

We have every solution to the challenges our customers may face when planning and designing a safe, comfortable, modern bathroom for the less-abled. Feel free to browse in our showroom or request a catalogue.
