Halverstown pupils raise €400 for Temple Street

The children of St Joseph's NS raised €400 for the Temple Street Children's Hospital with their recent annual Breakfast Morning.

The event was organised by the pupils of 5th and 6th classes, who prepared the breakfast while the other pupils went on their walk to Old Kilcullen.

At Old Kilcullen, Mrs Brown went through the history of the tower and the children walked back to school through a beautiful foggy morning.

The School has expressed its thanks to the local shops for giving food donations and to the parents of the school pupils for offering cooking equipment and amazing home baking.
