GAA cheque towards Christmas lights
Martin Murphy of Kilcullen GAA presented Ray Kelly of Kilcullen Community Action with a cheque for €500 last evening as a contribution towards the cost of the Christmas lights this year, writes Brian Byrne.
The presentation was prior to the video showing in O'Connells Bar of the recent GAA LipSync Challenge finals held in Killashee House, which raised in excess of €40,000 towards the Club's development funds.
The Kilcullen Christmas Lights will be officially switched on in a ceremony on 9 December. The event will coincide with a Christmas Market to be organised in the market square on the day by local businesses.
