All Christmas Market space booked
The Christmas Market in the market square is fully booked out, with more than 20 stalls organised, writes Brian Byrne.
The event on Saturday 9 December will have on offer Christmas trees, wreaths and crafts, along with fresh flowers, mulled wine and hot chocolate, breads and cakes and other festive foods, and hot food stalls.
There will also be photography and face painting, as well as a letter writing workshop and story-telling in the Heritage Centre.
Organisers Antoinette Buckley, Lorna Brophy and Katrina O'Connell say they are delighted with the response and support from local businesses in Kilcullen.
"Hopefully it will be a yearly event," says Antoinette Buckley. "Maybe even running over a full weekend ... but let's see how we get on with this one."
