Local TD chairing FG party Think-In
Kildare South TD Martin Heydon is chairing a 'Think-In' in Tipperary today for Fine Gael party members, writes Brian Byrne.
The event began with a coffee morning in aid of the Irish Hospice Foundation, following which An Taoiseach, Leo Varadker TD, was scheduled to officially open it.
Deputy Heydon says the Think-In is an opportunity to focus on strategic and longer term policies such as the 10-year capital plan and the National Planning Framework.
Speakers include Minister Pascal Donohoe on 'Budget 2018' and the 10-year capital plan, and Housing Minister Eoghan Murphy on the action plan for Housing and the National Planning Framework. There will be a number of workshops and discussion panels to allow all party members to have their say.
