Kilcullen at Positive Ageing security event
There was a strong Kilcullen attendance at the Positive Ageing Coffee Morning held in Bank of Ireland in Newbridge, writes Brian Byrne.
Among them were Josie Connolly, Nessa Dunlea, Bernard and Mary Berney, Patrick Durney, Gerard and Teresa McCarton, and Joan Dolan from Ballymore.
They were given advice on personal and home security by Garda Crime Prevention Officer George Doherty, while Bank of Ireland's 'Digi Arrow' Gary Maher spoke about online security. Diarmaid Fitzpatrick, Manager Bank of Ireland Newbridge, answered questions about recent service changes in Bank of Ireland.
In all, there were about 45 in attendance at the event, which had excellent audience engagement and participation. Josie Connolly brought home a spot prize.
