Children's Art Competition on market square consultation day

The Scoil Bhride 4th Class is taking part in an Art Competition which will culminate in an exhibition of their work at next Saturday's Public Consultation Day in the market square, writes Brian Byrne.

There will be up to 90 contributions in the competition, run under the theme Reimagine Market Square through Art.

There will also be tables set up with paper and colouring pencils in the Il Ficio unit so that others can provide their own interpretations, through drawing or in words, of what might be done with the square.

The day begins at 11am, and everybody is welcome, with a theme for the day being Your Town. Your Future. Your Say!
