Work ongoing on market square project

Before the recent meeting and presentation in the Town Hall on the idea of redeveloping the market square, a KCA project group had been working quietly on it for some time, writes Brian Byrne.

And they still are, as our picture shows from their meeting last night, with project group chair Antoinette Buckley, architect Laura Bowen, and Eoin O'Houlihan and Noel Clare of KCA taking a view of progress.

A family day on the square is being planned for the end of September, at which the proposals to date will be displayed, and people encouraged to give their own comments and suggestions.
