Festival already swinging

The River Festival is getting into full swing now, helped by the balmy weather and the promise it holding nicely through the afternoon, writes Brian Byrne.

The Army has arrived, and Ray’s Bouncy Castles are pulling in the young ‘uns, while Team Nolans is churning out some really scrumptious burgers.

You can have dessert close by at Armelle’s, and wander through some other toothsome offerings before coffee from Paul Tracey’s wanderly wagon.

Then sign the youngsters up for some drama and dance with Drama Dynamics (Evelyn does adult acting classes too, ask her about it), and don’t forget to sign up a duck for the big Lion Ducks Race.

And lots more. C’mon down, it’s a great afternoon already.
