Creative writing course in autumn

For anyone interested in creative writing, Kildare author Martin Malone will be leading a QQI Fetac Level 5 Creative Writing Course in Kildare in the autumn, writes Brian Byrne.

The course will be under the auspices of the Kildare and Wicklow Education and Training Board (KWETB).

Dates and location have not been finalised yet, but expressions of interest should be made to imeldacarroll@kwetb.ie, with Creative Writing as the subject in the email.

The author of seven novels, a memoir, two short story collections and several plays for radio, stage and TV, Martin's latest book is a short story collection, This Cruel Station.

One of the stories from the book was published in the Irish Times this week, and the publication is available from Woodbine Books in Kilcullen.
