An Garda urges vigilance

Kilcullen gardai are urging local residents to be vigilant in their areas following a number of incidents of shed break-ins last week, writes Brian Byrne.

The incidents were in Laurel Wood, and cars were also interfered with.

Sgt Mary Mulroe of Kilcullen is also reminding car owners to make sure that their vehicles are locked while parked outside their property.

"If residents see anyone hanging around their area who is not normally there, they should call us if they feel concerned," she adds.
