Council to assess traffic calming for Kilcullen
Kildare County Council is to assess the request for traffic calming measures such as rumble strips at either end of Kilcullen, writes Brian Byrne.
The request was made by Cllr Sorcha O'Neill, who was told that the issue will be referred to the Technical Assessment and Advisory Group in the Council and a report will be issued to members when this is completed.
Cllr O'Neill was also told that a request for a wheelchair-suitable parking space near the Town Hall is being considered by the Council's Roads Department, and the results of a technical assessment will be available in Q3 of 2017.
