End of summer options for photography students

Ireland's mixed and often uncertain weather offers photography enthusiasts incredibly varied opportunities to hone their skills even in only their home locality, according to professional photographer and photography teacher Conor Williams.

And the number of summer events in Kilcullen's own calendar provide even further scope to practice street photography, including the upcoming Mac & Norman Vintage Drive and the River festival.

Conor says the feedback from courses he has been giving over the last year has been 'very positive and encouraging’.

One of the participants in a recent one described it as ‘excellent instruction combined with a friendly informal atmosphere made for a great learning experience’.

“From how to compose and capture a great photograph, to getting the most out of your camera, this course made the complex appear simple” — Philip.

The latest course begins tonight, Wednesday 9 August, and runs for three consecutive Wednesday evenings.
