Information morning on €60m Enterprise Fund

An information session on a €60m Regional Enterprise Development Fund will be held in the Glenroyal Hotel, Maynooth, on Monday 26 June, writes Brian Byrne. It is of interest to businesses and business-related organisations, and community groups intent on development in their areas.

The event, which runs from 10.30am-12.30pm, is designed to advise on applications to the Fund, which can provide grant-aid under four different investment levels ranging from €50,000 to €5m per project.

It's a competitive process initiative by Enterprise Ireland, and applications will need to be very carefully prepared to be considered.

The REDF is aimed at accelerating economic recovery in every part of the country by delivering on the potential of local and regional enterprise strengths. The Fund will support significant collaborative regional initiatives to build on specific industry sectoral strengths.

The four streams of development are Major Change Projects - €2m up to €5m per project; Regionally Significant Projects - €250,000 up to €2m per project; Local & Community Enterprise Development Projects - €50,000 up to €250,000 per project; and Industry Clusters - €50,000 up to €250,000 per project.

Attendance is free, but please register your attendance in advance using this link.

Details of the competitive process are available on Enterprise Ireland’s website.

The closing date for the first call for Streams 1,2,3 and 4 is 3pm Friday 18th August 2017.
