No stopping Albert
Albert Keenan, racing in the Newbridge AC singlet, secured another Leinster medal on the May Bank Holiday Monday at the Leinster Masters road race championships in Gowran, Co Kilkenny.
Albert took home silver in a very competitive race, beaten only in his age category by a recent Irish International runner. Albert made his move to secure second place on the final lap of the tough, hilly 6k course and finished strongly in a great time of 27.09, over 30s quicker than last year ... so getting faster with age!!
Albert next goes to the Leinster track and field championships where he will compete over 1500m and 3000m. Best of luck, Albert.
