Credit Union support for community
A number of local organisations have been given grants by Kildare Credit Union under its Community Outreach Programme, writes Brian Byrne.
We have previously reported on the financing of a defibrillator in the Community Centre under the Programme, and recently further cheques were disbursed by Pat Stafford, manager of the Kilcullen Branch of Kildare Credit Union.
Clockwise from top left, they are Yvonne Carey Tyrell and Donna Hoey and children of Kilcullen Community Games who received a cheque for €280; Kilcullen Canoe Club PRO Diane Brown receiving a cheque for the Club; Emma McEvoy of Kilcullen Community Childcare & Education Centre receiving €1,000; and Liam Walker of Kilcullen Cycling Club with a cheque for €500.
