New lights on GAA Training Pitch
Kilcullen GAA's new lighting system on the training pitch has been tested, and is now in working order.
Club members involved in the test say the system is a huge improvement on the old lights.
The contractor was Seamus Byrne, and many members gave their time and expertise free of charge in getting to this stage of the Club's Development Programme.
They include Chris McDermott of MFL Steel, Jim Buckley, Martin Murphy, Dan Bell, Michael Murphy Digger Hire, Kevin O'Brien and Mark Brophy.
The Club says the lights are another major milestone met in Phase 1 of the Development Programme, along with drainage to this pitch and the match standard lights to the main pitch along with the installation of a club gym.
Support from members in buying lotto tickets, car draw tickets and membership is greatly appreciated.
